About my days and an american drama.

Let’s start today’s blog of mine.
Today, first I will write about this Friday.
This Friday, one of my friend and I went to Ueno Zoo. Because my little brother asked me to go an exhibition of a famous Japanese artist of comic books. The exhibition is held in Ueno Museum and going to be closed soon, so there were many people. Unfortunately, we could not enter even Ueno Museum itself. Before we got there, the order tickets had been dealt in front of that museum since 9 am. So we changed our first plan and decided to go to Ueno Zoo. There was more interesting more than we had expected. The animals we saw are hawks, falcons, owls, mountain gorillas, leopards, wildcats, a kind of squirrel, anteaters, capybaras, tigers and so on.
Mountain gorillas were like human beings. They sit cross-legged like us! It was really funny. Tigers were eating bones of some animals. Maybe those bones are of cattle or hogs, I think. We took pictures all the time.
And then we found a food stand. My friend bought a shaved ice and I bought a cup of melon soda with floated ice cream. It was delicious.
Recently, I had not gone out for a long time. So that day was refreshing for me very much.
Next, I will write about my favorite American drama.
That is “Tru calling”. This, “tru” is not a spell miss but main character’s name.
Tru is a usual law school student. But she has a special power. She can slip time.
If she spends a bad day such like somebody will die or killed, she slips time and goes back to that bad day again. And finally, she can help people. One day she notices her special power for the first time. She is spending a day as usual. But suddenly, her consciousness slips away and she finds herself spending the day again from the beginning. At first, even she cannot believe what is happening and people around her also cannot believe too. Especially her brother is scared of that story. However, because she spends the day again she can know what happened on the day.
One day, she has to work in a morgue. She sees the chief in that morgue and is surprised. She met him before she slipped time. She talks her slipping day to him in spite of herself. To her surprise, he is not surprised at all. He knows a woman who could slip time like Tru. Actually, a woman is Tru’s mother. It means that Tru’s special power is inherited from her mother. But the power is come down only to her.
Her sister and her brother are not so special people. Her sister notices Tru’s power is from their mother vaguely, even though she does not say so.
From that day on, she spends days helping other people’s lives. However, one day, she gets not be able to help people. Then she finds that somebody wants to disturb Tru.
The person is named Jack and he is one of her colleagues. Though nobody knows why Jack is trying to disturb her, he uses every way to kill Tru. And sadly, actually Tru’s father has something to do with Jack. Her father is also trying to kill Tru and her precious friends. Sometimes her brother is going to be killed and sometimes her friends are going to die because there is not Tru’s help. One day, because of Jack, she cannot help her boyfriend. He dies and Jack says “Do not shake peace in the world. If you help a person, somebody in the world will die. Instead of people who you helped until now, many people died in time you do not know. Hearing his story, she gets scared and really confused. Finally, she decides to keep helping people. Because she thinks her power is here to use and so her mother gave to her.
This story was stopped before going to second season. But the concept of this story was fresh and thrilling. I think that American dramas are sometimes funny and sometimes serious. This gap will lead to interesting discovery.
