About my ~

Let's star today's blog of mine!
Today, I am going to write about me recently.
Last Saturday, my grandmother came from Akita to see me and is staying my home now. This Sunday, she is going to go back to Akita. So I am sad.
On Saturday, my grandmother and I were a little tired and we went to a Chinese noodles shop near my house. We had some Chinese noodles and "gyouza". They were delicious very much. On Sunday, I brought my grandmother here, Sophia University. She had been saying, "I want to see your university." At first, I thought that my grandma would get tired, because it took about 40 minutes to go to Sophia University. But my grandma was tough! She walked faster than me! It was funny.
When we got to Sophia and she looked up those buildings, she was really surprised. She said "The buildings in Tokyo are very big. These are like monsters. I have never seen such buildings. Your university is great." But my grandma is not good at high places, so she does not want to enter Sophia University. After that, we took a walk for about 30 minutes around Sophia University.
This is an only 7 day-stay, but I have been enjoying with my grandma. When I come back home and say "I'm home!",my grandma welcome. It is a happy thing for me who usually live by myself. I hope my grandma will enjoy herself too.
We are going to go to Tobu department store in Ikebukuro station and shopping.
By the way, by all means, let me introduce my family!
There are five people in my family. My father, my mother, my little sister, my little brother and me. (And we have a dog.)
My father is a business man and 45 years old. He has been running his own company.
He is really strict when someone does bad things, but he is usually funny. He has practiced martial arts which is called “Kyokushin Karate”. This is one of famous martial arts in Japan. So sometimes he puts the technique of the Karate on me. I hate it, because it is awfully painful!
My mother is a housewife now. Few years ago, she retired her company.
She is good at cooking and her dishes are delicious very much. I think she is the best cook in my hometown.
She has never been to a university, but she is intelligent by nature. She knows almost everything I don’t know. Sometimes I feel scary, because she knows many things too.
I can’t tell a lie to my mom…..
My little sister is a junior high school student. She is really kinky and crazy.
She likes strange things and wears showy clothes. In Tokyo, there are many famous boutiques. So she seems to envy me. My friends say that my sister does not resemble me at all except her face. Recent junior high school students are really crazy! I feel a kind of culture shocks.
But when I am with her, I can laugh to die. It is fun to joke.
My little brother is an elementary school student. He has been involved in basketball for a long time. He is not good at playing sports, but he is always making an effort to be a good player. And he likes to play video games. Once he begins to play those, he seems to forget to have meals and to do his homework. This is big trouble for us. So he is always scolded by my mother. My father says “I think I shouldn't have given him video games.”
I think so too….(-0-)/ Children really like video games and comic books.
There are many strange and crazy people in my family, but everybody cares me at any time. I know it. Sometimes my little brother calls me, says funny jokes and just hangs up the telephone. Maybe it is to encourage me to be fine.
Until I started to live by myself in Tokyo, I didn’t like to be interfered by my family.
But without family, I feel lonely. After all, family is precious for us.

About my Golden Week

Let's star today's blog of mine!
This time, I'm going to write about my golden week from 2 May to 6 May.
I went back to my hometown, Akita on 2 May. As soon as the first class was over, I went home and prepared to leave. I was really excited, because I had not met my family and my friends for a long time. So I wanted to get on the train to Haneda Airport as soon as possible.
To get to Haneda Airport, at first, I had to go to Ikebukuro station and to get on the train for Hamamatsucho station. But I have not taken the Yamanote line so much, so I had gotten in a panic. Then a woman office worker showed me how to get on the train in Yamanote line. Though she was going to go somewhere, she taught me politely. I was moved.
And then, I could get on the train and got to Hamamatsucho without any happening. From Hamamatsu station, we can get on a rapid train for Haneda Airport. It is what is called "monorail". I have ever get on a monorail about three times, but I am not accustomed to do that. So I was a little nervous. About 20 minutes later, I could get to Haneda Airport.
The day before, I had planed to eat "bagel" with smoked salmons and cream cheese for lunch in Haneda Airport. I could have it!! It was really delicious. I recommend you to have it when you go there.
I got some souvenirs for my family and my friends in sony plaza and took a walk for minutes in the airport. While I was doing such things, it was time to check in. Until now, sometimes my waistband had been stopped at the check point. So I decided to take off my waistband in the toilet. But it was big careless of me..... I dropped my cell phone into water!!!
I was really really shocked to die. My cell phone was a new one. I bought it only ten months ago. So I had a call to my mom with a call box and told that nightmarish happening. I wanted to cry, but I had to go the check point. So I managed to go there and got on the plane for Akita. During the flight, I could not help thinking about my cell phone. I was sweating all over.
At last, I could get to Akita safely...without this incident...
After I arrived at my home, I fell asleep because of too much tiredness.
That night, my family and I went to my favorite Chinese restaurant. I was satisfied very much. Following day, my father and I went to a cell phone's shop and got a new cell phone. I think that recent cell phones are too expensive. In this century, we can't live without cell phones. Why do cell phone's company raise price? Is it only in Japan? I am still wondering now.
My new cell phone was about fifty thousand yen. Can you believe this?
It really made me angry! My father said " You are a fool. Why did you take off your waistband in such a place!? Hmmm..."
I was disappointed more.
But from the next day, I enjoyed myself enough. I went to a park near my house and talk with my best friend about many things for a long time.
Next day, I went to a department store with my family and had 31 ice cream there. During the golden week, 31 ice cream had discounted 31 percent.
The best thing I had done was a driving. It was comfortable to have a drive in the nature. I could refresh myself. It was also pleasant to take a walk with my dog. My dog remembered me well. ( But I had thought my dog forgot me.) So I was happy.
In my hometown, we do not have to be dressed up, made up or pay attention to others too much. There is a really relaxing place. Sometimes I wish that Tokyo will be like my hometown.
By the way, this weekend, my grand mother will come to Tokyo and stay for about 10 days. I am looking forward to see her very much.

About my weekend

Let's start today's blog of mine!
I will write about " the day of showa" and some plans of this weekend.
The day of showa was this Tuesday. Before some days before that day, one of my friends who lives in Saitama prefecture sent an e-mail and said " Shall we meet in Omiya in Saitama? Let's play and talk a lot!". So she and me decided to meet on the day of showa.
This was the first time for me to go Omiya. I have seen there on the way to Tokyo by the " Akita shinkansen". " Akita shinkansen" means the bullet train of Akita. So I researched the way to get to Omiya by the Internet before I went to there. Some ways were difficult for me, so I used Saikyo Line.
I will introduce the way to Omiya here.
At first, I went to Ikebukuro station and found the ticket gate of Saikyo Line.
And then I took the train to Kawagoe. It was a rapid train. So it took about only thirty minutes to get off the train. I think Saikyo Line is really really useful! My friend said that she was waiting for me in front of something like snaky objetd' art. So I managed to get there and we went to a bakery and had good lunch. There were many kind of bread. Most of the breads are a little expensive, but they are worth eating. They are really delicious, so I recommend you to visit there. ( But I can't remember the name of bakery...)
After that, my friend showed some department stores such as " LUMINE1" or " LUMINE2". Maybe there are the same department stores in Tokyo, but it was fun a lot to walk around in different atmosphere.
We went to a coffee shop, star bucks, and talked about university, our new life in city, our friends in high school, study, our family and so on.
We had not seen each other for a long time since we graduated from our high school. So we had so many things to talk about.
Omiya is a big city, but not like Tokyo. Tokyo, especially Ikebukuro, Shibuya, Shinjuku and Harajuku are really crowded and not clean so much.
There is rubbish on the streets, the air is not clean and the traffic jam is really heavy. But Omiya is moderately urban and country. It is like " Sendai" in Miyagi prefecture.
There is good to live more than Tokyo, I think. My friend says that she will come to Tokyo next time. So I am going to go to the Tokyo tower with her.
Next, let me write about the Golden Week.
I will go back to my hometown, Akita this Friday. At first, I am going to meet my grand mother and go to my grand father's and my dog's graves.
My mom promised to take me a Chinese restaurant and Korean barbecued beef restaurant. These restaurant are my favorite restaurant!
Because I live by myself, I can't eat out so much. So I am looking forward to go there with my family very much. I am really excited from now on.
Of course I want to enjoy dishes which my mom cooks.
By the way, there are some places of interest in Akita. For example, famous places of cherry blossom trees. Maybe you don't know.
" Kakunodate" is really famous for their cherry blossoms and samurai houses, " Bukeyashiki". Cherry blossoms which usually we see are normal cherry trees. But in Kakunodate, we can enjoy special kind of cherry blossom, " Japanese dropping cherry". They are called " Shidare sakura". Somewhere in Kyoto, we can see them a little. But in Kakunodate, all the cherry trees are dropping. It is really rare in Japan. They are beautiful and breathtaking elegant. Moreover, we can enjoy some traditional foods of Akita like " Kiritanpo" or " Hinai jidori".( " Hinai jidory" is famous chicken.)
Traditional foods cooked by traditional cook are beyond words! It sound a little bit exaggerated, but it is true. If you come to Akita, you should go to Kakunodate. You can make good memories of county and I guarantee that.
